Earth
Earth
I got life in the womb of the mother
and live in the lap of mother earth
She showers blessings on us
in the form of foods and shelter
We breathe air to survive
but we cut her arm
and sow seeds of poison in her womb
which makes earth barren
Clouds have deserted the sky
and rivers have stopped flowing
We emit smokes and choke her's lung
We have eyes and ears
but we are blind and deaf
The fire is raging the forest
but we cannot feel the heat
Bees do not sit on the flowers
as nectar has dried
Tears roll down the eyes of mother earth
as we deceive her
Time and tide wait for none
so the mother's anguish
It's time now to wipe out her tears
and fill her laps by flowers
present her gift of plants and trees
garland her by rainbow
Future generations look to us
for our devotion to mother earth
Let's remember
what we sow, so we reap
