Gratitude to Mother
Gratitude to Mother
I bow down before the mother to pay my obeisance
I have nothing to offer for her unflinching allegiance
I owe my gratitude to her for showing me the light
though I give her pain by my occasional fight
I am indebted to mother nature for nourishing my beautiful body
The five elements are her gift my ignorance turns them shoddy
My existence is due to my motherland which gives my name a recognition
I regret to deceive my motherland by moving abroad due to my ambition
Our mother brought us in the world and obliged us by recognition and sustenance
We expelled her from our heart and life and paid her curse by natural turbulence
