Earth Action

Earth is a sinking ship 

in strong tsunami waves 

climate signals a warning 

that we dig our own graves 

The huge glacier melts 

and the sea level rises 

The coastal area sinks 

with galore of malaises 

The hot and strong wind blows 

spreading wildfires for miles 

The thick smoke 

moves with the wind 

choking lungs and fading smiles 

Species of wild animals extinct 

as craving for food crosses limit 

The curse of dead animals enter 

as virus dampening human spirit 

There is an effect of a cause 

like an echo in the deep valley 

Whatever is sown is reaped 

like hunting with a sally
