Dream of Darkness

It didn't have to leave me,

And yet it did.

Left me here in the desert,

The ground beneath me slid.

The deafening silence,

Makes me cry tears of loneliness.

I'm slipping by the second,

All that I see is a mess.

It's like a forest in front of me,

The leaves have turned red.

They also sense my sadness,

They know the soul in me is dead.

The clouds are pitying me,

They went away without any rain

All I wanted was a few drops,

So no one could see my pain.

I wish the sun comes up fast,

This dream is too dark.

I just want to wake up,

And go play again in the park.
