Unaware of this world, I dreamt of a paradise.

The hands, which were to wear pen and paper, are now compelled for henna and turmeric.

The story of a lady who has led her life, following the commands of others!

Am I a toy, which is sold non-consensual?

Okay, will be called stubborn for this question, so I need to follow and go on!

Now, in a super new environment, have to work for several people!

Yes, that's all is my work now, inhaling their jeers, digesting their atrocities!

Though slavery is banned but this modern slavery is named as domestic violence!

I am hit, kicked and beaten!

Since I am not raising my voice, I am obedient.

But when I raise my head for protection, then am said "wearing pants"!

So, this is what kept me submerged under their oppressions!

Many came and were burnt under their shattered dreams.

But, I will no more be obedient.

I am fighting for myself .

Breaking all the shackles, now I will encroach for my dreams.

This dominancy won't be heeded anymore!

I am a voice, a victim of domestic violence.
