Diyas weave together to lighten the world

The magical celebrations will unfold

The blue sky will be peppered by rockets

It's fine to lose some money from our pockets

Sweets and gifts bring million-dollar smiles

Ears are excited to listen to mythology tales

We shall not promote pollution,

By our irresponsible action

We shall promote togetherness,

To snub out the darkness

We shall drench in the power of lights

To churn out colourful nights

The dangers, hidden beneath the cloak of darkness,

Will be expelled by light to spread happiness

This is not the time to pursue fights
