Disassociation in the finest form

Gripping at the thin leather seats

Insecurity comes playing in at me

Since when have the feelings grown legs?

Since when did their jaws snap and break my skin making the summer heat so, so hard

But there aren’t any bandaids strong enough to patch the holes of broken hearts and hollow bones

A dreamer became a philosopher

Yet a philosopher may only answer the questions that are humanity poses for them

The stars whisper secrets

But they fall upon deaf ears

For no one will stay quiet long enough to listen
