Colour Red

I wouldn’t say red is my colour 

But it’s the brightest thing I see

From when I wake up in the morning, 

To the colour of my feet, 

The only thing rushing through my veins, 

Screaming at me to wake up

If red is my colour,

Why is it always dripping away?
