Demon from my mind
Demon from my mind
Staring at you,
Through my blank eyes,
Your morbid presence beside me,
I am paralysed.
You aren't as scary,
As people perceive you to be,
After all, you come from my mind,
You're the demons inside of me.
Oddly comforting,
Even though you crave malevolence,
I know you aren't real,
The distinction is benevolent.
You can't harm me,
No matter how heavy your weight is,
Yet I'm petrified,
For you are in my sleep paralysis.
