Making peace with now

Because the past isn't in the room,

And because if I don't stand down

The future, too, will be doomed.

Hesitating to take

What is on the table;

And yet hell-bent on thinking

To take the offer!

Finding the pros and cons

Because there won't be a later,

And it is just a list

To handle a critical matter.

Still it is hard

To calm my nerves;

But it is now or never

So I forget, what inside of me,

Just doesn't stop to stir!
