Goliath said will forgive your tweet

If in your words you can retreat

David said I shall stand by my tweet.

I did my duty as a citizen

Words I typed, wasn’t a bit indiscreet.

My criticism of the court, a necessity

It wasn’t meant to be some nicety.

In moments such as these in history

One needs to dare and save constitutional glory.

I do not ask for mercy

For what I said wasn’t a heresy.

Goliath this time may win the fight

But the point has been made,

That might isn’t morally right.
