Cravings Of The Sun

The Sun glares at the life on earth

With the innocent face of a child

As if it's the only planet bearing life

Maybe it is the only one

With such prevalent lifestyle

Searching for a soul

As pure as if it's own

And as unique like none

That resembles him

And has the potential

To stand out all alone

But he fails to perceive such a person

Who can stand at the center

But still, lead the solar system

And love someone

Someone light-years away

That replaces its place at night

Still loves the moon the same way

So he cries and cries

But the tears immediately dry

Or rather get evaporated by its heat

So with a smile, he weeps

He has no time to sleep 

But still dreams of the person

He would resemble 

If he was a human

But he's yet to realize

Nobody ... Not a single living being

Can mimic him

Strong bold in the clear sky

He's one of a kind

A once in a blue moon type

He's special and bright

Not only his eyes but

His whole body shines day and night

He's the sun

The mighty king

That rules the day 

And his love the night...
