Civilization

The episode that started with Adam and then Eve,

We never knew we had so much to weave.

The race which had their ways such naive,

will create a world that is now such brave!

As creatures, we had dwelled highest in the food chain,

Understood better the traits of misery, hatred, and pain.

Societies we had formed and ways our mind trained.

We traded, bartered, and created virtues of loss and gain.

But now everything we know is coming to an end.

All of our efforts and scientific calculations have resulted in vain!

And we shall have to resort to the only way to sustain,

A new civilization, where a new ecosystem we shall find and maintain!!
