Chores
Chores
Stan knew,
There were chores to do.
So he sat down and heard ‘Superheroes’.
Played XBOX and ate Cheetos.
He saw ‘You’re my Tomato’,
Just like a couch potato.
Mom was a receptionist,
Dad was a perfectionist.
They weren’t stepping on lawn,
Until dawn.
Oh bother!
It was mother!
She stepped on the lawn,
Not at dawn.
Stan was too busy to see,
Busy as a very busy bee.
Mom saw a fan, a can, and Stan.
Stan was grounded,
Like he was bounded.
Stan knew that chores,
Were not for boars.
