The Day I Tried To Bake

The Day I Tried To Bake

I want to bake cookies

But as a cook, I am a rookie

I joined a cooking club

But I can't seem to turn on my cooking bulb

They say "You're a girl"

"You should be able to do this in a whirl"

My Mom says "You should learn to cook if you want to marry"

But marriage is a burden I don't want to carry

I want to make a cake

But I don't know how to bake

In the oven, the cake burnt

This made me hurt

My family wanted a bite

But everyone got into a fight

Oh My! Oh My!

Oh Why! Oh Why!

I tried to make a Lollipop

But when it came out I felt my heart drop

They were all melted

Looking at them I vomited

To be honest

I don't think it would even be eaten by a hornet

Thinking about my failed desserts

I couldn't sleep

They were so much like dirt

They gave me the creeps
