Choked

Choked

Sometimes I feel the weight, a heavy stone inside,

Words stuck in my throat, emotions I can't hide,

Alone in a crowded room, a silent scream in my mind,

Searching for a way out, but the exit's hard to find.

I'm choked, I'm trapped, can't let the feelings flow,

A storm within my heart, but no one seems to know,

Lost in the shadows, where the light can't show,

I'm choked, I'm trapped, in a world that moves so slow.

The walls are closing in, the air is getting thin,

Trying to find my voice, but I don't know where to begin,

Loneliness a constant friend, in this endless night,

Hoping for a dawn, to bring my thoughts to light.

I'm choked, I'm trapped, can't let the feelings flow,

A storm within my heart, but no one seems to know,

Lo

st in the shadows, where the light can't show,

I'm choked, I'm trapped, in a world that moves so slow.

If only I could break these chains, tear down these walls,

Find the strength to stand, and answer my own calls,

But for now I'm drifting, in this sea of pain,

Waiting for a rescue, from this dark and endless rain.

I'm choked, I'm trapped, can't let the feelings flow,

A storm within my heart, but no one seems to know,

Lost in the shadows, where the light can't show,

I'm choked, I'm trapped, in a world that moves so slow.

Someday I'll find the words, and the courage to speak,

Break free from this silence, no longer feeling weak,

But tonight I'm still choked, still lost in this fight,

Hoping for a new day, and the dawn's first light.
