Sweet Little Lies

In all dark and subtle light,

When you left me to be me.

Although with you by my side

I could have conquered anyone,

Anyone in the world it could be..

When all I needed was you,

You were no where to be found.

I spent my nights crying,

You were unable to hear the sound.

You stood aside, staring from distance,

My eyes filled with tears.

When you could have been near me

But you show that you don't even care ?

I do know, that you do care

But how on earth, can this be any fair ?

You left me all alone behind.

Just because, this was all, already defined..

You promised me,

I will never have a tear in my eye.

Leaving you, is the foremost reason,

Reason I have it,I seriously won't lie.

Why can't it be us for rest of our lives ?

But you told me, this is not how, I am going to survive.

So all of this was a castle,

A castle build on lies.

Where you acted to be my soldier,

And rose my hopes high.

I now realize, how you managed to cover up,

Each and every time , with a lie.

Be it buying AC for my room,

Whereas you stood happily under scorching sunny sky.

Be it driving a second hand motorcycle,

Or lying about your pain in the spinal.

You had your fake smiles and laughter,

Hiding the pain, I don't know how you mastered.

​Be it skipping your meals,

But you, you never revealed.

Revealed the truth which was always hidden,

And asking it was always forbidden.

Why did you work so hard ?

I know it was just to be our guard.

To protect me from all the evil,

But now what you do, for me is illegal.

Leaving me here with a stranger tied,

Tied with a righteous knot, as his bride.

Asking him to be my protector,

And demand him to provide me a shelter.

When you already have given me all,

You were a hand for any sudden fall.

Now I get it this was a plot,

Unlike from what I thought.

​You build a castle in my wonderland,

With those lies to be with me, forever.

You melted my heart with those silly chocolates,

Now I understood you, you acted so clever.

But you , Oh! yes you are,

And will be a possessed prize.

The one​ who disheartened me,

Every time with his sweet little lies…
