Something struck hard, as I finally crossed the gate,
Goodbyes, farewell cards, all happened as per fate.
I was neither sad nor happy to be very true,
But ask me, I am unable to recall how time flew.
Night outs, weird dances and in all those lame puns,
Time swept somewhere with meetings, in all the work done.
New bonds, friends, colleagues, I had you all throughout,
Helped me widen my horizon, leaving no fun to be missed out.
The several clubs which always kept me engrossed,
An official place where office stress could be tossed.
The sooner the better they say, and now as I part my way,
Though I was out of words on my last day, the experience I had is a splendid takeaway.
