Epitome of Friendship

Let us see each other at the cliff 

As the sun goes down on his way. 

And when the night comes 

Beneath the stars, we lay. 

We push aside all our worries, 

We don't think about them at all. 

We just promise each other we'll catch them 

If either of us ever does fall.

 

We don't talk about the insecurities we face back in society 

Or our sorrows back at home 

What we just need today is 

Each other, friendship's epitome.
