Heart Beat (Little one 1/20)

Heart Beat (Little one 1/20)

It was a pleasant day of November,

I was out of my bed but still in slumber.

I had missed my periods by a couple of days,

Did my body have something to say.

I went to washroom to check and see,

If there is a mini me within me.

The last time we had two pink lines,

Things ended with cries and whines.

I hope this time everything goes well,

I have lots of stories to tell.

The two pink lines were a treat for my eyes,

My happiness question reached up to the sky.

We went to the doctor hand in hand,

Waiting for our family to expand.

And there we saw a little beating heart,

Ours missed a beat but her beating fast.

And thus we wait for a little bun,

Bringing lots of happiness and fun.
