Chains

Chains

The chains held the girl once again and she was trapped.

A dark room she once dread, made her seek a never ending fall.

She began to love it all.

A harsh voice whispering into her ear,

Telling her "You're here."

All of her innocence being ripped from her being, dragging her around like a rag doll.

Before she could even speak, it all became bleak.

She reached for the rope in the distance but something grabbed hold of her, shaking her.

Everything became a blur.

Suddenly she awoke in a room with a raven staring at her holding an apple.

A blindfold strewn across the floor.

Blood on the door.

Her innocence was forever washed away and replaced with haunting chains.
