Her Journey

Her wings were broken,

Her freedom was taken,

Her dreams were overlooked,

Her goals collapsed.

Her studies were taken away,

Her childhood was rummaged,

Her hair line was filled with sindoor,

Her neck was adorned with his identity.

She became a childhood bride,

She became a toy for their pride,

She wasn't given respect,

She was treated as a maid.

She tried to endure the pain,

She tried to hide her tears,

She tried to accept her fate,

However, her patience died.

She walked out of the relationship,

Her family stood by her,

She was a mother of two,

With a responsibility on her shoulders.

They became her only reason,

They became her only hope,

They are the reason for her survival,

They are the reason for her smile.

She started working hard,

She started saving money,

She gave them education,

Which is more than the book knowledge.

They have the ethics for life,

They have the rules to live,

They loved her more than anyone,

They treated her as their queen.

The decisions were took by her,

The implementations was done by her son's,

They reached the pinnacle,

She stood proud.

The suffering came to end,

The insults came to halt,

She stood there with her head held high,

Now the whole world bowed in front of her.

Sadly, God proved his cruelty,

By taking away her life,

There was a smile on her face,

And a satisfaction in her heart.

With her hand in elder son's hand,

She took her last breath,

Weaving goodbye to everyone,

Searching for peace in the heavens.

Still, she was loved,

She was respected,

She was being missed,

And will be in her family hearts forever.
