Buckle Up

Yesterday I was thinking of my career,

What am I going to be, will I be a warrior,

Or will I just quit before even starting?

Will I get stuck in self-doubting?

Many thoughts were going in my mind,

What am I going to do, I go to find,

Heart said, do something which you like,

Then mind interrupted, don’t be a psych,

Maybe things would be easier when you do what your heart likes,

But this world is not easy, it would give you many strikes,

Then mind suggested, just go with the flow,

Whatever all are doing, do that in a row,

Heart defended suddenly,

Don’t be a fool, neither you would be lonely,

Do whatever you like, whatever makes you happy,

Neither at the end of the day, you would be weepy,

Mind interrupted again, be smart,

This so-called heart is just fooling you apart,

This fight between mind and heart went on for much time,

But in the end, I did not know what was my crime,

What am I suppose, to do, that I need to find,

Should I trust my heart or should I go with the mind?

Answer…? 

I don’t know the answer, 

Whatever you do, things won’t be easier,

So do what you like,

Let mind give you the strike,

Find a way where you get both the mind and the heart,

Don’t think too much, just give yourself a new start.
