Brutality
Brutality
All had wiped off the words ease and rest
Every moment each was endeavoring the best
To emanate a ray of light amidst massive darkness
Renowned personalities including M.K Gandhi bolstered the confidence
The cruel Britishers had not left any stone unturned to exploit us
Our Innocent people were enduring the pain digesting all brutal tortures
His emergence inculcated an unprecedented spirit to raise voice against the merciless enemies
All came forward to fight for their motherland leaving all emotions behind and fought with them consolidating their unities
They played with us to the best level assessing our strength to fight
Our greatest weapons truth and nonviolence induced us to struggle for our right
Our people fought the battle embracing and echoing the rhythm of Vande Mataram and Jana Gana Mana
But they had adopted the policy of conspiracy, clandestine activities, and exploitation
We bore all deceptions, firings, whippings and the painful torture of imprisonment
But still, we had not bowed our
heads before the brutalities and discontentment
Women had forgotten their veils and shame to instill the air of freedom
They had come out from the boundary-breaking the deep-rooted stereotypes and boredom
Everywhere there was the inner screaming and lamentation to flow the free Ganges of Independence
Each Indian had evinced unflinching commitment and indomitable perseverance
Our ideology, weapons to fight the battle and impulse to gather momentum are ostensibly rare in the history
Which ultimately vested in our hands the much-awaited and aspired victory
Eventually, that much-cherished sun showed its face in the east
We heaved a sigh relief after two hundred years long unbeatable fight
Yes, we got freedom and sowed the seed to germinate hope of development
Still, we are striving hard and exhausting strenuous effort for this achievement
Really our freedom fighters had bestowed us the asset by their blood and sweat
We have to keep our independence alive by doing our best.
