The Cycle Of Depression

When you are alone in your room

Thinking about this or that

And suddenly your overthinking hits your mind!

You cannot stop thinking

About the worse that could happen

Or the worst that had already happened

And just randomly reflect upon your life.

Eventually, your throat starts choking

Eyes accumulate with tears

It gets difficult to breathe

You feel like your heart's going to stop

If you believe in God

This is the time you will pray most faithfully

And ask God to remove your pain

But you are unable to speak

Even to yourself

And you cannot explain it to anyone

When even you are unable to understand

Why is all that happening?

That is how depression is!

The only way to feel better

Is to let your tears flow

Because after a crying session

Everything feels anew

As if nothing ever happened at all.

The pain will vanish as a long forgotten dream

Without anyone ever revealed to your sad version

And you can easily get back to your normal life

Until you face this depression session all over again!

It doesn't end

It just comes and it just goes

Just like that!
