Blessings On A Leper
Blessings On A Leper
On the bank of Ganges lived one leper
With a stick, he walked hither and thither
Prince Gobind overwhelmed by compassion
Thought of succoring his troubling affliction
He hinted his friends by making gestures
To take the stick away from this wanderer
When children snatched from him his stick
He tumbled down to the Ganges following them
When he was near the waters of Ganges,
Gobind started splashing water over him
Earlier he had phobia from water, but now
He was feeling relief from pouring water
He felt to his wonder that his skin is healing
He realized that his suffering was leaving
Prince Giving told him to utter 'Waheguru'
Stop cribbing and fill himself with gratitude.
