She closed her eyes

Praying for it to be gone

But alas! Her luck, Her fate,

And the pain she'd borne!

She whispered a silent prayer

And shut out against the world!

If it meant solely happiness

She would've treasure it like gold!

A creeping voice haunted her

Shaking her to the edge of the cliff

She cried, “Don't do this, don't touch me, somebody please help me“

Oh!! But who would've heard!

What sounded like a whisper

Turned out to be a scream!!!

Her soul trembled, her body shivered,

Would somebody come to her aid! Please!

Touch! The way she once spoke,

Now turned out to be her foe

Love for herself fled, never to return!

Oh that day stopped her grow!!!

When the sun rose

A tiny hope filled her heart with warmth, which was so thin!!

But alas! Who would've thought

She would be blamed for the state she was in!!

A few long years!

Time enough to increase pain

For not once had she ever,

Ever, felt safe again!!
