Birth and Death.

Rituals of birth, 

And rituals of death, 

Follow life on a daily basis!

 

An inhale or exhale 

Resounds with separation,

Searching for that perfect 

Epiphany,

Which never happens!

Rituals and rites 

Are but trite

That keeps hope and faith alive.

But what's gone, 

And who has gone, 

Never comes back 

Only in memories 

And ceremonies!

We come alone, 

We go alone,

People and places 

In between,

Are just milestones

To journeys end.
