Letter To My X

I remember the first time I saw your smile

I was so happy I cried like a little child

For me it was a difficult time but somehow you were still on my mind

Things changed a lot since then but in the beginning you were my best friend 

We talked all day and night

The only thing that was missing was you from my sight

I've learned a lot from being with you

And no matter what God's reason was for you being in my life I'm glad I met you

You were always there to help me through

For that I will always love and appreciate you and I will always be here for you

Even though our love has changed

Your place in my heart will always be the same

But I hope you're doing good and everything's ok
