A Promise

I read a book that was so sad,

It just made me so very mad

To think of the sad the end,

I wish every word I could bend,

Into making it very glad

It would be anything but bland.

So full it'll pull at your heart 

At first it'll rip apart

And then it'll mend stronger

And you'll long for a longer

Better fuller story

It'll buy and buy your territory

I make it come true

With pencil and glue 

I'll write a good book

No matter how long it will take.
