Behind That Smile

Mind is like a black hole dark and deep

Depth unknown and some secrets to keep

Inside it lies thousands of thoughts

Kept in giant pots

Behind every one of the closed doors lies a secret

Behind every smile lies a pain you won't get

Behind those shut lips spread ear to ear

Lie the messed up thoughts you dont want others to hear

A person laughing is not always happy

He laughs to keep you away from being gloomy

Cause he knows what it means to live in torment

And still, pretend as if nothing just happened

Dont judge happiness from that mask at which you gaze

There at times lie a million agonies behind the happiest face
