Autumn Leaves
Autumn Leaves
Autumn leaves falling
From a distant tree
Standing tall since ages
Like a meditating sage
The shade it provided
Relief from the scorching heat
Lover's favourite spot
For their most awaiting meet
From butterflies in the stomach
To destiny's parting ways
It has witnessed all
By being a sage; standing tall
Autumn leaves getting wings
They are carried away by
A strong and roaring wind
Resembling as if bits of paper
Filled with unsaid words; crumbled.
