And We Would Have Agreed

We struggle to meet our own

 Expectations in every walk of our life.

We try every moment to succeed

In whatever we undertake.

And we would have agreed

That life is not a blend of roses.

It is a path full of thorns,

And we have to struggle to get going.

We make many friends

As well as enemies in life.

Some moments are special

And we encounter some special ones

Who remain in our hearts forever.

And we would have agreed

That we meet people in our lives

As it is destined to be so.

There are karmic connections from

Our previous births resulting in

Meeting those whom we had met

In some previous birth.

It is a fact that whatever we sow,

We get that in return.

Just like we cannot expect to get a

Mango tree if we sow a guava seed.

And we would have agreed

That it is important to get

Our karmas right by doing right

And not increasing our bad karma

By any wrongful act or karma.

When we would have agreed

To all the right things in life;

It is always wise to act right

And think for two minutes

Before doing anything.
