An Escape...

Books were her escape,

From a world that made her suffocate. 

Her mind was filled with imagination,

Of romance, angels, demons, and inspiration. 

She slept many a nights,

Over literature that was sheer delight, 

And woke up to some mornings,

That gave her life some meaning. 

She wished to get lost,

And never be found at any cost, 

Reading was for her a therapy,

As maintaining her sanity was primary, 

Along with a touch of the Almighty.
