A World in Peril

A World in Peril

There are many life species, on our planet

whose lives, are desperate and stressful

trying to cope with life, as we know it

dealing with strive, that is not normal

Humans have invented, this thing called money

which has created, the political economic system

that has never worked, for all life to be sunny

as they thought it was wise, but it has no wisdom

Humans are supposed to be, Mother Nature’s caretakers

but it seems like, they just want to be undertakers

as all of our breeding, increases human population

that only leads to, Mother Nature’s destruction

Humans have become like, bacteria in a petri dish

being crammed into, so much human density

like being caught in a fishing net, just wanting one wish

to get out of this place, the human rat race

We have been brainwashed, to think

that life, is all about money

but all life, is on the brink

of going, straight down the dunny

Humans go out and kill, endangered wildlife

to greed their need, to feed their family

and there are those, who greed for their own life

as they don’t seem to have, a life of empathy

Humans have planned and implemented, deforestation

and we keep on destroying, with all this mining

which has only led, to our planet’s destruction

for our selfish attitude, of being a superior being

The greed of money, has created so much pollution

and over consumption, of the earth’s material resources

as money has blurred their vision, for the right solution

to solve all our problems, with the right logical sources

There are many humans, around all our grime

who really struggle, with the stress of life

so out of desperation, they turn to crime

to relieve their stress, to have a decent life

All this has given us, a lot of health problems

because it has caused, inequality of life

to which is why, we have many society problems

as money, has never solved our problems
