A Woman's Day
A Woman's Day
I am a woman, body and soul,
Mistress, whole and sole.
Yet I need a day of the year,
To remind me and all others.
A day to tell me, I am strong,
Unique, special and do belong,
A day to celebrate, recognise,
Commemorate and eulogize.
Keep aside the token gestures,
Just acknowledged my presence.
Complement, not compete,
Only then we both are complete.
Every day's a woman's day,
Notice this, if you may.
I am a woman, body and soul,
Mistress, whole and sole.
