A Warm Dream
A Warm Dream
I rub my eyes and open them,
The after-image of tonight still remains.
As my memories of today sink into my pillow,
I have a dream about a summer night.
With my faded senses still not returning,
I hold your hand until your warmth has spread to me.
I won’t tell anyone that I recalled what I dreamed about,
And became this happy.
Lying in your warm arms,
I set myself,
In a dream that won’t end.
