A Walk With Her
A Walk With Her
As another busy day crept towards a peaceful night,
The howl of the wind was echoing around,
An eerie chill was securing its grasp on the night,
While my ears caught on a mysterious hooting sound.
All shadows seemed to have gotten intentionally intensified;
To scare away the scariest, and the bravest;
In a bewitching manner the nightly shadows,
Tried to steal the prevailing peace in haste!
Awestruck I stood, looking at the sky,
Trying to fix my eyes on the moon for a while,
When suddenly my little angel, playfully clutched my hand,
Expressing her wish to walk with me, half a mile!
Comforted by the tenderness of her hand,
I felt her warmth, and her innocent touch -Oh! So soft.
Her fearless affection busted off my fears,
Releasing the aura of her angelic charm aloft.
