I have never told you so,

But you are my inspiration.

I have always admired you,

And you have been my constant source of elation.

I have done everything in life,

To become your pride,

I did every single thing,

So, all your rules were complied with.

I wanted to make you proud,

I wanted to see you smile,

I have always thought of reducing your problems,

And to make your life worthwhile.

You have always been a great dad,

Although very strict,

You have understood me well,

My moods, you could always predict.

You knew which food I would love,

You knew which movie I would like,

You always thought of my good,

Scolding me, when I was unladylike.

You have made me the strong women, that I am today,

With your love and reprimanding’s,

You have stood by my side,

Never leaving me standing.

I want to thank you today,

For teaching me to fight,

For finding my way through this world,

For being my shining armored knight.
