Shooting stars

Our stories are hoax told over and over,

words are worth nothing unless they resonate with others.

we follow our dreams like chasing shadows of someone we once believed in,

we stand so ahead of the curve, it becomes a sphere,

and we come back like shooting stars.

we let problems define us as if they make us special,

hunters with striking words drag us down to quarells,

ship wrecks rusting for fishes to live in,

but gravity is holding on to us like shooting stars.

the treasure is trembling so aristocrats decide to resist the king with their fancy wine,

everyone shed their skins when they landed in the town.

it's like a kaleidoscope of a thousands dreams and hopes,

the daylight is enchanted to meet the imagination of a child.

but we are shooting stars;

drifting to a new place, hoping we would belong there.

'cause we are shooting stars,

we burn the night on a new moon night.

busting crowds have a music for the sleepless crowd,

walking on broken bridge; wondering the world won't slip through.

the sky is grey before the storm but we are the twilight breaking through.

just like shooting stars, we make folktales,

we guide path when we ourselves are lost in this universe.
