A Walk To Remember (Free Verse)
A Walk To Remember (Free Verse)
Among the white fog on the streets,
I started a walk to remember.
It was early morning,
Fog blanketed the streets,
The breeze gives wintry chills,
Leaves whispered to me,
Flowers flirted with me.
I imagined her smiling face,
So pretty, like tender sunshine.
I went to her grave,
And placed some lovely flowers on it.
It was the same date when we first met,
I sat beside her grave and began to share everything I felt about her.
My feelings for her were like birds chirping,
Leaves falling from trees, and flowers dancing in the wind.
I looked up at the sky and remembered,
That the departed become stars that shine beautifully.
Indeed, her soul is always with me,
Because we've loved each other for eternity.
