A New Year! A New Beginning!!

Life is like a roller coaster ride,

Slow is the climb up, but down we come in a slide,

Through the ride, if you have kept your cheer,

You have had the time of the year!!

Similarly, life has its ups and downs,

Some moments give us happiness others make us frown,

In every incident, there is something to learn,

Apply your mind and situations will turn.

When you are feeling depressed and low,

Difficult times seem to move very slow,

Think of ways to keep astride,

To enjoy the journey as well as the ride.

As we move up the staircase of life,

We enrich ourselves with struggle and strife,

Some experiences sweet, some bitter,

But together they shape our character.

Even Nature has its complementary design,

There is darkness and there is light,

On a moonless dark light

There are stars shining bright.
