A Line

A source having the ability to divide,

allowing one to mark own side.

It sometimes leaves a deep scar,

on the mortal beings and material things like car.

It gives structure to every shape,

from a wooden stick to a measuring tape.

The burden of it may be so much that one is in dismay,

or it may be so light that one is in gay.

It can be focused on any way,

It may save or even slay.

This experience is not of mine,

but that of a line.
