The First Impression

A simple man wearing formal pant and plain white shirt,

having no dirt

A mind determined to win a full game of dart,

having loaded his essentials in a cart

His cart is full of treasure

beyond anyone's measure.

First impression left on me, of a nice man

with a firm belief if he can then everyone can

His age told me of his experiences of life

which were sweet as a rose but sharp as a knife

I'm shocked, a senior can be like this

nextmeeting with him I won't miss

A humble man

who taught us that if you try you can.
