A Grim Act Of World

Female infanticide is a crime,

Instead, be blissful to the glory of a chime.

Saving a girl child will bring u fortune,

Her existence will fill the house with the melodious tune.

Don't forget every being can be only born to a mother,

Then how can killing her girl child not bother her?

An irony of life is that,

We worship goddesses but for us, a girl child is a mess.

Killing a girl in a mother's foetus seems to ease,

But only a mother knows the pain behind the girl's life being ceased. 

It turned out to be illegal in some places, 

Still, it's being promoted in some cases.

No mother protests about this or makes noise, 

We should preserve the ratio of girls and boys.

We should avoid girl infanticide, 

For this mothers don't need any advice 

Being a girl child is definitely not wrong, 

If anyone obstructs you, avoid it and care for her as a good mom.

Killing a girl child is a grim act,
