The Fest

The festival of lights is here,

Negativity present in people's mind will fear 

On this occasion good won over evil,

By lord Rama conquering Ravana who was a devil.

Diwali brings us positive vibes,

Also lightens and brightens over lives.

Now, let me tell you the story of every house,

We worship goddess Lakshmi and Ganesh with their mouse.

Our fathers welcomes goddess Lakshmi and wealth in their pockets,

They also bring lights for putting it in our balconies and sockets.

Our moms light up the house with diyas and candles,

She also gets ready with crimson and bangles .

We children like to burn crackers, rockets and sky shots,

For that we always have some separate plots.
