Murder mystery

The mayor heard someone knocking the door of his room,  

He went and saw a person in disguise and gloom . 

The murder of mayor took place,

With grief and sadness on everyone's face . 

The thief wanted the 2kg golden Tin,  

He took it, but nobody saw him . 

The thief himself, as an innocent went to police station and filed a case,

Everyone including the prisoners gave him a loud gaze . 

The police interrogated the thief,  

And offered him some cooked beef . 

The thief was cunning enough,  

He answered every question even those which were tricky and tough . 

The inspector asked him about the crime scene,  

The answer given by him was 'near green theme' . 

The inspector understood,  

And took the right route . 

The police reached the crime scene,  

But the mayor woke and realise that it was just a dream . 

But wait what ?
