A Free-Spirited Soul

Death, finally be at peace,

I come to thee with full ease.

Fears do no more in me reside,

The past has been kept aside.

Faded colours don't paint anymore,

On the canvas of my life, For sure !

The guilty's forgiven after much ordeal,

The innocent has progressed with immense zeal.

Were they for real or mere myth ?

Bygones best lay buried beneath.

Gloom's a guest, best left,

Without much of farewell's heft.

For life is simply discovering "Oneself" ,

And not something used at else's heart's content !

Gear up and take life's reins,

Before the horse runs down unseen.

Views and opinions which "People" expressed,

Do they even affect your life's zest ?

Paths often trodden least do unfold,

Treasures for lifetime, they do hold.

Mockery and Rebuff are sure to introduce,

Fame and Fortune will then conclude.

Efforts made from one's heart,

Never lay in vain or mix with tart.

The sands of time will for sure remind -

The future, of the wonders left behind !

Awake from age old slumber and Hey !

In the sunshine, make your own hay.

For the one who triumphs isn't rich or kind,

He's the one who can bend people's mind.
