A fractured fairytale

A fractured fairytale

Once upon a time,

A prince fell asleep,

In a fractured storyline,

Snoring quite deep.

In his dream, he saw,

A witch secured in a tall tower

Captured by a princess

Who was named after a flower.

The witch, hanging down her purple locks,

Saw BIG blue riding hood,

Who managed to find a fox,

All while in the woods!

In the woods, she found beauty so rare,

A poisoned orange, 7 dwarfs,

and a girl- Oh! so fair

And an old woman, into a witch who morphed!

Soon, the witch ran back to her home,

To prepare for a ball,

With pink sandals and a pumpkin dome,

Waltzing through the castle halls.

Seeing the incautious prince still asleep,

The witch rang the alarm - beep! beep! beep!

The prince raised his arm,

To snooze the alarm.

The witch made a loud scream

Which woke him up from his dream.

His first few words were these -

“Just 2 more minutes, please.”
