A Damsel In Despair.......

Sitting alone in here,

Fighting off this odd fear.

 

It clenches my heart,

I fear we are worlds apart.

 

It makes me want to cry,

 I fear I will never try.

 

It worsens when I see a smile,

I fear getting betrayed in a while.

 

Scared to get close to anyone,

Scared to lose myself to someone.

 

They tell me to be strong,

I fear going along.

 

They say, time is like a tide,

But I am scared, I want to hide………

 

Tell me,

 Will you be the charming prince,

To hold me every time I wince?

  

Will you come riding that horse white,

To whisper in my ears that all is right?

 

Will you be my guiding angel,

Dear, I am no Rapunzel.

 

Will you save your damsel in despair?

They say her wounds are beyond repair.

 

Please tell me,

 Will you come? For I need you,

Will you show me the love that’s true?
